Would-Be Witch Cover

This is not the finished product yet, but since they sent it to me, I thought I'd share it with you. Blogger toned down the red of Tammy's hair. In the original file it is positively eye-popping.

Many thanks to the fantastic artist at Berkley. That art department rocks.

P.S. The "cat" is an ocelot, his name is Mercutio, and he rocks, too. ;)

Where's the rest of her dress? Maybe the art department isn't finished. Don't get upset yet.

Paul,

You've got a good eye like my friend, Bethe B., who asked, "Is it magic that's keeping that dress up?"

LOL So yes... the pen is not only mightier than the sword, it's apparently also mightier than gravity. ;)

I've always wanted to have the figure to wear a dress like that ...

Although I probably wouldn't, even if I could.

Great cover.

Mary-

Yeah... it's a bit Jessica Rabbit, isn't it? I think Jessica's cute line was: "I'm not bad. I'm just drawn that way." ;)

Like you, Tammy Jo (the story's main character) wouldn't usually wear a dress like the cover model's. She gets rail-roaded into it by a ghost actually.
