Tammy Jo Lives On...

Okay, so this map looks like a 5-year-old made it. (No one ever said--or will say--that I can draw.) But I have to have a quick reference. And so far Google Earth has not traveled to Tammy Jo's Duvall. C'mon, Google, help an author out!

Do you like the stuffed Merc holding up the map? (So cute, right!?) Like Mercutio himself, stuffed Mercs are quite rare.

So I'm not showing you this map just for heck of it. I have some Southern Witch news. Awhile ago, I promised readers that I would return to Tammy Jo when I caught my breath after a whirlwind 2011 writing schedule for the Etherlin.

When I finally started work on what I thought would be an electronic novella for fans, my agent and publisher joined the party. So now there will be at least two more full length novels, one short novella, and who knows what else. Hurray!

I'll keep you posted on all the details as I get them.

Many thanks to the fans of this series. I'm convinced that you made this happen by buying and talking up the books. Thank you! As always, you're the reason I write. :)

Also... who should we encourage to have books two and three made into audiobooks? Loved the first one!

Glad to hear it. I was just looking today to see if you had written another book in this series. Had forgotten the titles of the books, but thank goodness Amazon has a great search engine. "Witch, Texas" did it. :o) I originally had "cat" added (I mean, a main character, right?). lol Anyway, straight guy here that enjoys your work after getting for my mother. :o) Had to read it after seeing the cat on the front. I have Bengals and my girl Sage, that just died a few months ago looked somewhat like Merc.

Oh, good idea on the audio books. With a great reader, it can give a whole new perspective.

Thank you so much for continuing The Southern Witch series! Even though I love the Etherlin novels, Tammie Jo stole my heart years ago and I was disappointed to think there wouldn't be any new adventures with her, Merc or, her oh so delicious forbidden fruit, Bryn. Truth be told, two books and a novella won't be enough. It really does seem as though you have enough going on with the characters from Duvall to keep the series going for years. If you explore the British end of the families the future for the series seems as though it could be endless. (Oops, did I forget to mention that each of your books leaves me hungering for more?!)

Since it took me so long to seek out your blog, hopefully my wait for the next S.W. book won't be so long. Thanks for all of the wonderful hours of escapism your books have provided for me and every other reader lucky enough to have found them.

Thanks so much, you guys, for being such avid readers and fans of the series. It means the world to me! As I post this comment, I am polishing the 4th manuscript, SLIGHTLY SPELLBOUND, so more Tammy Jo is on the way. :)
