This picture of blooming wisteria comes from my friend Bonnie's back yard. Isn't it lovely?I was restless all week in between writing sessions and ended up going out for coffee or margaritas most nights. Happiness is having friends... :)What were you up to?
Work, work, work. I managed to break through another creative log jam on the latest novel last week, and a I drank TWO beers with friends. I expect more of the same this week (work and creative log jams, but probably not beers).
Good morning! Popping in very briefly as I'm on the last stages of the book and MUST finish.Did a marathon writing session this week/weekend and hope to finish today.Hope everyone is doing well!
Hi all. Just a quick drop by for me as well -- but long enough to be jealous of green stuff and blooming things which won't start here for 2-3 weeks (at least I hope it's here by then). What we've had is lots and lots of rain, the results of which is all I've had to take pictures of. [LINK]
Paul - Good job on breaking the log jam. I get jammed up myself sometimes and love it when it's time to get back to writing.Hey, Maria - Yahoo on having a marathon writing session! Here's hoping you DO finish by tonight.Morning, Andi. :) I love the picture. The leaves look like jigsaw puzzle pieces. Very cool.
My DVD player broke, so I had to replace it. In the meantime, I had to watch my Netflix movies on my computer. Well, at least I had a back-up system.Saw a silly comedy I wouldn't recommend, but I'm also watching these "Jesse Stone" mysteries starring Tom Selleck that are based on Robert B. Parker novels. My dad mentioned them to me, and I'm really glad he did.
Hey folks - spent the week packing, cleaning, and wrapping up my Florida life. I leave early tomorrow morning, bound for Colorado. Stopping to see Far, andif, Nancy and Katiebird on the way. and I can't wait! We'll toast absent friends. Hope you're enjoying your Sunday - don't know when I'll get to write again, but I'm looking forward to having a home again soon.I'll check in as I can - til then, take care!
Man... I'm not sure it was a good idea to take an extra day off work Monday. Saturday got eaten alive, today there's only been a couple of hours to relax & we're supposedly cleaning up the living room (NOT).Paul, if you're not going to have those beers I'll be glad to take them off your hands. :-D
Hiya, Beth & Far!Beth, have wonderful and safe travels, and I'll see you on blog if and when you're able and in Kentucky for sure in late May.Far, I'm right there with you, buddy. I just stocked up on Lysol and Endust supplies, thinking I'd get some spring cleaning done, but so far they're still in a bag on the kitchen floor. On the other hand, the Bailey's in my hot chocolate is delicious and I hit the halfway point and passed it on a new writing project. Love weekends. :)
Still cleaning up from the aftermath of my mom's move and my grandmother's demise. Sigh. Hope everyone else is having a better March than I am.
Kelly, the good news is that it's almost April. Hang in there, and March will be behind you soon!
What a pretty picture!! I love wisteria. It's so beautiful and ... makes me WISTful for small towns, and little houses. :)
