Like a Head on Fire

"It's useless to hold a person to anything he says while he's in love, drunk, or running for office." Shirley MacLaine.

Are you following politics this year? I am at moments, and a friend sent me to a site online to take a survey of questions that matches one up with the candidate that best matches one's answers. You have to rate issues on importance and choose from several answers. It was really interesting.

I'm sure it's not wise to get into politics here, so I won't ask you who you like as best as a candidate. Instead, if you answer one of the following questions, I'll match you to the cartoon character that suits you best...

1. Of all the super powers I could have I would most like to:
(a) fly even if I had to wear a really boring hairstyle and tights (b) talk to animals who might follow my commands, but might also choose to ignore me, (c) deflect bullets while wearing my underwear, (d) turn into a bucket of water

2. My highest priority in life is:
(a) efficiency, I like to move fast (b) treats, you can send me to possibly get killed so long as there's a peanut butter cup involved, (c) killing my nemesis; I'll try things that defy the laws of physics if there's even a chance I can destroy him/her

All right, obviously I'm overtired considering that I'm making up a question/answer section of my blog that involves cartoons. Have a great Sunday, and I'll see you in the comments. :)

AquaScoobie here, too!

Um, Kimber.....what's an AquaScoobie? Am I glad I'm one? :-)

I have to admit I was tempted by the peanut butter cups as well, but having an arch nemesis is the kind of thing that helps you get out of bed in the morning.

Rick - LOL That is SO true.

Beth - An AquaScooby is half Aquaman (from the Superfriends whose big talent was talking to animals and swimming. So if there was no sea adventure, Wonder Woman mostly had to cart him around in her invisible jet. Old joke...how did they even find it?)

And the other is, of course, Scooby Doo. Fun-loving and mostly used as bait by his pals. Paid off using Scooby snacks. When I was little, I decided that Scooby snacks were peanut butter flavored and must have been delicious for Shaggy and Scooby to risk their lives to get them. ;)

There's not much I wouldn't do for peanut butter cups....

Thanks for the clarification! I know Scooby, but not Aquaman. I'll work on becoming that person...

Oh, cool! We can breathe underwater? I've always wanted to be able to do that. . .while talking to animals and eating peanut butter cups.

Is there a superhero that eats Hersey Kisses with Almonds?

That's fine with me Scooby was always my favorite!

Nancy,

If there isn't there should be. My main character eats a lot of Hershey's, but I don't think she'd qualify as a superhero. On the other hand, she does have some extraordinary powers and if the Wonder Twin brother who just turned into a bucket of water most of the time qualified as one, then maybe so... ;)
